While technical director Eduardo Coudet directs River Plate's preseason in Alicante, Spain, the reality in Buenos Aires is different. This Monday, a large group of footballers who will not be part of "Chacho's" plans returned to training at the club's facilities, with the aim of managing their respective departures. Among those summoned to carry out medical tests and train separately are renowned figures such as Germán Pezzella, Fabricio Bustos, Paulo Díaz and Maximiliano Meza. Young players and recent additions such as Ian Subiabre, Alex Woiski, Giuliano Galoppo, Santiago Lencina and Maximiliano Salas also join in, who no longer have room to change the position of the coaching staff. The priority of the club's board is to complete permanent transfers to reduce the wage bill, although so far no sale has been made official. Meanwhile, the leadership is working against the clock to secure the reinforcements requested by Coudet, after completing the incorporations of Nicolás Otamendi and the Uruguayan Mauro Arambarri.
