World Rondje: is this the prelude to a spectacular tournament?

The World Cup has begun with great expectation and has already generated a deep conversation. Starting at 12:00, in Rondje Mundial, reporters Geert-Jan Jakobs and Simon Zwartkruis will discuss what happened. Mexico and South Africa opened the tournament on Thursday night with a match that left two goals and three red cards. Last night, South Africa and Czechia provided entertainment, especially in the second half, with Feyenoord midfielder Inbeom Hwang standing out with a goal and an assist. Was this first day the prelude to a spectacular tournament? We will comment on it starting at 12:00 in our usual World Rondje broadcast. We'll also take a look at matchday two, where the other host countries, Canada and the United States, will take on Bosnia-Herzegovina and Paraguay. Of course, the Netherlands national team will also be analyzed, as they prepare for their first World Cup match next Sunday against Japan. The main question is whether goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen (with a hip bruise) can recover in time for the game.
